sorry, i wasn't clear. the first time i change my LinkSys router's password, i am prompted for a webpage which asks the password. but i never choose to save the password. then when i close the browser and reopen Chrome, i get all the settings without being prompted for the password! this is horribly insecure!! is it too much to ask for a logout button?
WRT54G - Hard Reset, and still can't log in with I have a WRT54G ver. 2 that my new roomate contibuted to the cause. In an effort to setup and configure this router, I have been attempting to login to it. My older D-Link model DI-304 router (Wired) had a Log-Off option so I felt more secure once I finished modifying my settings in the router. Don't you think it's a good idea to terminate that admin session rather than just leave it open and vulnerable? WRT54G Login - Linksys Community
