I made one small change at the very after all other modifications, and thought you might like to know about it. One thing that troubled me was the loss of the wan port.
The router's Internet Settings as Static, only connect it's WAN\Internet port to the upstream network and change the router's mode from Gateway to Router. A Static Route will be required in the main router for the secondary router's LAN IP Subnet.
