Yes, there is. The whole point of sharing files through torrents is that even if nobody has all the parts of the file, you can still download it. As long as the complete file is available between all the peers, you're good to go.

But everybody has places to be and things to do, so the seeds for a torrent move on to other matters. To seed forever, do I just set my seeding limit to some ridiculously high value (its currently 150). Say something like 999. If a torrent hits the seeding limit, does that mean it will no longer seed at all and people cant grab the torrent from me? Also, in order to seed lots of files, I have set the "Maximum number of active torrents" to 250. If the torrent already got loads of seeders I usually seed to 1.0 or 2.0 in ratio before I remove it. If I like the torrent and seeders are few I seed continuously. I let them seed forever. I lost a bunch about 2 years ago when I upgraded my pc and forgot to backup my torrent files but other then that, I seed for as long as the torrent is alive.
